The patina on the walls
The patina on the walls of this bathroom is easy to achieve and adds a touch of history to these elegant hues.
Quantities of paint necessary:

Voice of Color®-approved latex paints,
Eggshell finish:
|

Soft Suede 313-3:
|
|
one quart |
|
|
Ivory Tower 313-1
:
|
|
one quart |
|
Faux-Finish product:
|
|
|
|
|
Clear Blending Glaze: 17-50:
|
|
one gallon
|
Technique for the patina:

First, use a roller to paint the wall in
Ivory Tower.

Blend 3 parts Clear Blending Glaze to 1 part Soft Suede.

After dipping a paint brush in the Glaze mix, apply it, tapping gently over the wall with the tip of the brush. (Tip: use an old brush. Older, drier, more “spread out” bristles will achieve a greater effect than a new bristles.)

Tap the surface gently with a cloth in order to gently blend and partially remove some of the Glaze that was applied in Step 3.
