Accessories play an important role in every décor. In this very classic bathroom, the lampshades have been hand painted to harmonize with the color of the walls and with the patterns on the mirror frames. Rattan baskets, soft cotton towels, wooden accessories these natural materials enhance the soothing atmosphere of this bathroom and invite us to get closer to nature and relax.

Small budget big imagination!

This great looking bathroom was brought to life thanks to the homeowners' imagination, and despite their small budget.

The owners are both taller than average people and they decided to use a little ingenuity to create a custom solution. A tall, wide sideboard unearthed at a local antique shop was easily transformed into a wonderful (& high) double sink washstand: two holes were cut out to drop in sinks and faucets, and the top was resurfaced with durable ceramic tile. The result?  A simple solution with tons of charm!

More discoveries two inexpensive mirrors are a perfect fit with the antique washstand and the lampshades were transformed with painted finish by adding the mirrors' matching metal cross detail.

The subtle patina on the walls was very easy to do and, its natural hues complement the antique look of the furniture.
