Nature: a limitless source of inspiration...

The flaming colors of an autumn landscape, the tender green of spring foliage, the fiery pinks of a setting sun, and the dazzling blue of a summer sky are some of the combinations of spectacular colors Nature offers as inspiration to professional and amateur decorators alike.

When a scenery pleases you, take the time to really observe its lush display of colors, and note which colors appeal to you the most. You’ll notice that certain combinations seem daring, at least at first glimpse. But, as daring as they may be, Nature’s palettes almost always complement each other perfectly. They are sometimes vibrant, sometimes subtle and oftentimes peaceful. But always, they are well balanced.

At the Voice of Color®, nature’s themes and palettes were a constant source of inspiration. Memories of a walk in the forest, the power of the ocean, or the delight of a blooming garden are all associated with vivid recollections of color; as a result, memories of these breathtaking days often form the basis of new palettes for our Harmony Collection™.

Thus, it was the memory of an autumn vacation in the mountains that inspired our AH-1 palette.

 

Nature also offers numerous soft, beautiful neutral colors.

The DS-4 palette is a good example.

 

Flowers, whether pale or vivid, are an endless source of inspiration... the hues in palette MR-3, Damask Rose, evoke them with all their exuberance.
